This guide presents Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts using the Java programming language to a 400-level audience, using the Eclipse IDE as their code development environment. Knowledge of OOP and C++ are pre-requisites for this material.

Jim Gerland

Jim Gerland is an adjunct professor at the University at Buffalo since 1988 and at Buffalo State College since 2015. He currently teaches Web Programming I (HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript), Web Programming II (PHP & MySQL) and E-Commerce System Technologies. Jim has also taught Microcomputer Applications, Database Concepts, and Object Oriented Programming with Java.
